- Principal: Tolstedt Architects PLLC - Bozeman, MT. June 2006 - Present
Provided design consulting services for projects ranging from an approximately 60,000 square foot, ($60,000,000), complex custom private residence, to a, 45,000 square foot, mixed use high end condominium complex. Numerous additional, 7000+ square foot, custom private homes were designed.
- Project Architect, Senior Design Architect: Locati Architects - Bozeman, MT. October 1992 – June 2006
Partner, Locati Architects, 2005-2006
Responsibilities included project design, master planning, production management, quality control, code compliance, Intern mentoring and contract administration for numerous resort, commercial, and high end residential projects. Projects ranged up to 350,000 square feet, ($60,000,000) commercial projects and 70,000 square feet unique private residential complexes. My role as Project Architect included overseeing project teams of up to 10 employees.
- Project Architect: Taylor Architects – Bozeman, MT. January 1990 - June 1992
Responsibilities include project design, production management and contract administration. Projects included: School additions, National Park Facilities, Commercial and Residential projects and included a number of Nursing Care and assisted living facilities throughout the region.
- Architect In Training: Mithun Partners – Seattle, WA. April 1987 - July 1989
Responsible for project design, production and contract administration for projects in the Puget Sound area. Projects ranged from a 400,000 square foot regional mall to custom private custom residences. As an intern I was given the opportunity to be involved in the design portion of a number of projects and went on to oversea the completion of construction documents and construction administration. Experience included construction methods such as: Complex Steel frame, Curtain wall, tilt up concrete, and multi level masonry.
- Architect In Training: Zervas Group Architects - Bellingham, Wa. March 1986 - April 1987
Responsible for project design and production for a variety of projects in the Bellingham area including: banks, historic renovation, and commercial development.
